Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The city did not invite the job thieves nor their offspring, Let the CTU fund this mess so these children can enjoy affirmative action over the white children!
They join a gang and then go to prison.
My god, the horror. Think of how many children are misgendered – on a daily basis – with Spanish’s use of only male/female pronouns. Have those Spanish speaking custodians been educated in the use of inclusive and non-gendered Spanish language? Think of unspeakable trauma inflicted upon non-binary migrants when the custodians use uninclusive language like ‘el’ (he) and ‘ella’ (she). What a complete disaster this is turning into.
