Rich libs bought more stuff online, plus inflation, plus $$ being spent on Dunton Street in Arl. Hts. instead of downtown, and BAM! More tax revenue. This isn’t rocket science. Every discretionary tax dollar not spent downtown is probably spent in downtown Arl. Hts. I know that I spent a lot of $$$ locally now that in other years would have been spent in the city.
