ICE is evidently not discriminating in who they pick up. Legal folks probably can get released, eventually, but note that due process rights seem to have been suspended.
No. Due process has not been suspended. People are detained (and subsequently released) by cops all the time. They do that for their own safety until they sort out who’s who and what’s what.
