Mayor Johnson calls for Civil Rights Movement response to ICE, says ‘moment calls for boldness’ – Chicago Sun-Times

“This moment calls for boldness — not some sort of pragmatic pragmatism to a tyrant. In fact, that’s how we got in this mess in the first place. It’s because we were too tepid,” Johnson told reporters. “We’ve got to challenge these corporations and the rich to pay their fair share in taxes. The next step and level ... has to be real, organized resistance, as what we saw organized and prepared in the Civil Rights Movement. We cannot just simply leave it to protests that just react to the egregious and harmful and deadly actions coming from the Trump administration.”

The two people who have been shot have their “boldness ” to blame for their own deaths. They boldly acted like fools in interactions with Law enforcement. Play stupid games , win stupid prizes. When you listen to fools, the mob rules. Brandon Johnson is the head fool in Chicago.

Yes, by all means copy the actions of the Civil Rights movement: comply with law enforcement, don’t taunt law enforcement, don’t interfere with law enforcement operations. The one thing conehead left out is that both Eisenhower and Kennedy had to deploy the US Army when local law enforcement and National Guard refused to comply with Federal law. Make no mistake, Democrats WANT chaos, riots, and confrontation to convince people to vote for Democrats in November. If state and local law enforcement cooperate with Federal agents, there wouldn’t be any chaos, but Democrats don’t want their voters deported and don’t want… Read more »

The whole goal of Johnson’s movement is to impede! Every public space and gathering in Chicago is filled with radical activist materials and propaganda. Even the well meaning free book of exchange box on my block is packed full of ICE whistles and flyers full of lies. There are countless NGOs pushing for violations of 18 USC 111. Johnson is trying to take it to the next step and erect a criminal conspiracy backed by mob intimidation. Bondi needs to charge NGOs and politicians for this mess.

This is the formation of a criminal conspiracy to impede federal law enforcement. Those stupid infographics floating around stating that ICE isn’t a real police force and that they need a warrant will get you thrown in jail. For anyone dumb enough to take Johnson’s bait, you could potentially be charged criminally under 18 USC 371, 18 USC 372, and 18 USC 1512. There’s more you could get arrested for, too.

Everything Pinhead does is to distract the public from all of the actual problems with the City’s operations. He will continually come up with cause after cause, shiny thing after shiny thing to move the press and public away from the budget, costs, crappy operation and conditions in the City. And of course, if that doesn’t work…blame President Trump.
