Mayor Brandon Johnson appears at the Let’s Eat to Live restaurant on 67th Street Wednesday to announce his veto of a measure that would have frozen the phase out of the subminimum wage for tipped workers.

Mayor Cliff Notes strikes again. With Chicago businesses teetering on the fiscal cliff of insolvency, the guy who never held a job of responsibility in his life decided to push them further over the abyss. To a complete ignoramus like Cliff Notes, basic economics is hieroglyphics. The idea of a business reducing all employee minimum wages to zero by closing up shop isn’t even something he considered a possibility.
