Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson plans to hold a public engagement forum called Repair Chicago to "gather lived experiences of harm of Black Chicagoans" in an effort to provide reparations for Black residents.

Is Mayor Johnson insane? He is the mayor of a city about to bankrupt and he wants to give away monies he doesn’t have. Worse he has turned his back on poor Blacks and favored illegal immigrants.
The mayor is building public and affordable housing at exorbitant costs on the west and south sides, transit improvements on the south side, NGO payouts with no results demanded and raising the CTU’s position vis a vis the taxpayers while the children can’t read, write or add. He going to keep spending other people’s money until the bond market or the electorate stops him. He’s an expensive manifestation of Harold Washington’s operating mantra: It’s our turn now.
The term “affordable housing” is funny, because everyone wants affordable housing…but in the case of Pinhead, I think he’s too stupid to understand that for his affordable housing plan, the tax payers pay the difference…the house still costs the same…the Illinois Tax payer pays the difference for him to provide his “affordable housing”.
Once he bankrupts the City, Jumbo and the socialist Illinois legislature will require the state-wide Illinois tax payer tapped to bail them out…and on it goes…never ending graft, corruption and stupidity.

Yep, it’s always about the BLACKS, isn’t it BLACK mayor raising his three BLACK children with his BLACK wife? Nobody except BLACKS ever had a setback, misfortune, was discriminated against in the entire history of CHI, IL, the US or the entire world.
Both of my grandparents came from Ireland in the 1920s . We didn’t own slaves. I feel I don’t owe a thing . And if we are going to talk reparations, let’s tally up the welfare benefits and housing benefits and medical benefits given out over the last 75 years and deduct from there
Pinhead is just too stupid to be mayor. Where does he think the cash for his perceived need for “reparations” will come from?, the City is all but bankrupt, the state is no better…but he wants to spend more on nothing, on a concept, on a feeling…he is stupid, but in a position to continue to do more and more damage.
So the White people who are recent transplants have to subsidize the black population? Fortunately I identify as black and still identify as a Chicago resident so I will apply. I am a White skinned black man.

“Repair Chicago,” he calls it? I was kinda hoping he’d look into the Ohio Street spur off the Kennedy Expressway, that has been under construction for like three years.
