You sure don’t see Mayor Brandon Johnsom claiming credit for these crime numbers now!
I think that anyone riding public transportation or reading CWB or SCC ( in lieu of getting an accurate description of what is happening in CHI from the local media ) can figure out that the “ crime is down “ mantra is an illusion. The effort to turn felonies into misdemeanors or flat out ignore crime begun with the Lightfoot/ Foxx cabal continues full steam ahead.
Could be that revolving door at the courthouse that lets these thugs go free. Hello Judge Lyke
