Chicago immigrant groups celebrate SCOTUS birthright ruling: ‘A moment to engage’ – FOX32 (Chicago)

Mayor Brandon Johnson also weighed in on the ruling: "Today's decision allows our residents to continue to live, work, and contribute to the fabric of our city without fear of losing their most fundamental right. We are proud to have stood in defense of the health, safety, and dignity of our communities."

Birthright citizenship does not mean you are citizen when you sneak in under the cover of darkness and choose to reside in the US illegally. The people that choose to come in that way and then stay here sucking up benefits for free can still be deported. The US is not some kind of roller coaster line where you can try to sneak under the barricades to cheat everyone else out of their chance. Thank goodness at least the border is under control now. If FJB was still in office there would be another 100 buses headed to Chicago.

I’ll bet Johnson’s pension check won’t suffer as illegals drop their anchors and endure a further bleeding dry of social security, social services etc. But you and your children and their children will. The tab for this will make the welfare complex’ trillions spent look like a drop in the bucket.
