Hilario Domínguez began his CPS career in 2015 as a special education teacher. But in November 2021, a fellow employee accused Domínguez of discrimination and sexual harassment; the employee said Domínguez repeatedly made a Nazi salute and called them “Hitler” in front of students. Another CTU political grifter!!
A CTU flak as mayor, another one as president of the CTU, and a third as CPS chair would give the union the trifecta it needs to irrevocably ruin the schools and the city. RIP Chicago!
Imagine a car manufacturer who replaces BoD members with union reps. The employees all rejoice, as they think that a big payday is in the offing. They get what they wanted: Huge pay increases and a generous pension. Rapture! With wage and benefit costs escalating, the car company empties its coffers and borrows huge sums to pay the mandated employment costs. No CTU members on CPS school board! We need people who are for the students and improving education a cTU member would most likely for CTT, not education.
If that’s what the voters want then that’s what they will get. As always, it’s up to the voters to decide and they will get the government they choose.
