City Council approves compromise that freezes hourly pay for tipped workers – Chicago Sun-Times

Far Southwest Side Ald. Matt O’Shea said a parade of restaurant owners in his border ward have told him they don’t want to leave Beverly, but city mandates have them seriously considering moves to suburbs like Oak Lawn, Evergreen Park and Blue Island. “If the restaurants don’t exist or leave to go the suburbs, nobody’s got jobs,” O’Shea said.

Burnett and Mayor Dum Dum would do well to take note of Starbucks latest anti- redistribution of wealth maneuver- they are fleeing the Northwest, relocating to Tennessee and cutting thousands of jobs in the process. They have had enough of striking baristas that think they deserve a $250K/ year lifestyle for making coffee being backed by a progressive/ socialist/ communist government.
