Commentary: Chicago’s parking meter deal was rushed. The Bears megaprojects bill shouldn’t be. – Chicago Tribune*

David Greising, of the Better Government Association: "In many states, the law requires detailed cost-benefit analysis on all bills with major financial implications for state budgets. Illinois has one such law, but it is full of loopholes that render it almost meaningless."

Go ahead Springfield take your time, no need to rush the mega projects bill. The idiots in office
will probably pass the bill. What the so called
politicians refuse to admit is the Bears are already gone. They want stability not stupidity,
Indiana offers money and stability, Chicago
has no money and is short on wise decisions.

The Bears are not going to Indiana. It’s a toxic waste dump located next to a deteriorating oil refinery. They have a FREE STADIUM there and they have yet to accept the offer, why? Obviously they don’t want to. The State will fail to pass the legislation and the Bears will continue to play in the cold.
