Arrest them all. Then charge, convict and jail them. Crime needs real consequences.
Yes pay, $1,000 ticket. Which blocks everything if not paid. No city sticker and more tickets. Boot the parents cars on the street if not paid
He’s right.
Need to stop with the “teen” titles. Mobs, punks, thugs etc. are more appropriate.
Supt Snelling is not wrong, but surely he understands that the parents are most likely just the older versions of what he sees at the teen takeovers. It’s far too late to appeal to the parents. It’s Lord of the Flies playing out in our streets. Law enforcement must stop it, the parents are never going to do it. The same for schools.
After the rash bordering on epidemic of “ teen takeovers/ gatherings/events “ this last weekend coast to coast, I think shaming delinquent parents is the last thing we should be concerned with. A few “ teens “ were arrested and several were stabbed, beaten etc. A far cry from seeing how many youngsters can cram into a phone booth or toilet papering someone’s house, no?
Said “parents” I’ll bet most have a mother or grandmother raising them!!! Birth certificate says “Father federal government.”
What parents?
There have to be significant penalties for parents and teens both jail terms and fines, rather than just citing them and releasing them. No one seems to be suffering any consequences for these takeovers.
None of these parents have a clue what their kids are doing. Half these kids probably don’t even got to school
