Cubs, MLB players to honor Black Lives Matter movement during season – NBC Sports

Cubs players plan to be among those across MLB who will wear Black Lives Matter-themed T-shirts for batting practice and/or uniform patches that read “Black Lives Matter” or “United for Change” when the season opens Friday.

So sad to see MLB has become just another platform for politics and ideologies.
The whole pre-game ceremony and National Anthem with players kneeling was a divisive display.

Horrible miscalculation by all the pro sports…

Bowing at the altar to “woke-ness” over your bread & butter fan base…

You have alienated not only the “die-hard” fans, but the “casual” ones as well…

Get used to playing in empty stadiums…

OUR FEAR SHOULD NOT BE COVID, IT SHOULD BE AGAINST THE DEMOCRATIC COMMUNISTS. This virus was brought in by the Communists as a pre-cursor, to have a psychological effect on All People in the USA of Fear!
This was planned by the communists and they are winning!
Let your fears subside and get out and Fight Back against the Communists! Those with pre-existing conditions, choose your battle, but the rest of us, Against Communism, BLM, Antifa, need to push FEAR out of the way and Fight for America!

Let the BLM domestic terrorists buy the seasons tickets. I’m done with the cubs. Lifelong fan, it’s over. If they want to cater to blm let them support the team, buy the jerseys, pay for tickets. They won’t, they don’t work.

Guess we won’t be watching MLB any more. Dearest MLB players who are genius at playing a kids game: you shouldn’t conflate your admirable skill at hitting (or throwing) an object hurtling at you, in space, with the capacity to understand these very complex issues that plague our society. If we want your opinions, provide them from the comfort of your own homes via the internet – since you would rather signal your virtue during said kids game, I will ignore your entire existence. Go back to sunflower seeds and chewing tobacco.

I’m tuning out ‘woke’ pro sports. Sports is supposed to be about entertainment and being a fan, not pushing political views.
