Illinois public schools are now lost in the woke agenda and the amount of union communists that run the schools are tough to overthrow as the school boards are woke as well. This is a national problem but it is worse in urban areas. Rural America has a sense of values and the amount of radical union communists teachers who are activist more than they are educators typically have no desire to be in a small town. I think a lot has to do with the parents and in so many cases the parents have just given up and moved on to homeschooling. Sad thing is they pay the taxes then have to teach their children too. Life in Illinois never gets any better it seems.
