A number of other states are all vying for quantum computing. Experts expect a functional computer in 10 YEARS – so Illinois could hit $1 Billion in subsidies by that time if JB is still governor since they will undoubtedly blackmail him to stay.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
