The payouts are much lower than what most Illinois pensioners get. In a broader report, the average pension benefit for state and local public employees in Illinois was given as $3,129 per month or about $37,547 annually (for the group overall) in one “Pensionomics” analysis.

This is what the cops, teachers and firemen should get paid and then they would be funded. Many of them get over $100,000 per year.
