Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. They were change makers all right. All for the detriment of the country. Barry’s eyesore tribute to Darth Vader’s lair via Soviet architecture is an appropriate reminder of the empty suit, hopey-changey load of schite the media sold (and continues to sell) to the chumbolones.
I am sure it will be a media spectacle and pounded on our heads on every media outlet over and over again. The speeches will be “Stand up”, Fight, Focus on ” Working Families”, Hold ICE accountable, F*ck Trump. I am sure this place will be a gathering place for community leaders, various cOalitions, faith leaders and other grifters and con men who need a place to fleece the rubes in Chicago.
I hope all law enforcement makes it a point to avoid the area of the party that day. Let the police haters sort out their own mess when the party gets out of hand and “ funnin youths “ take over.
