It just appears to me that Wirepoints is just a racist news outlet. There, I beat the democrats at saying it because it was coming sooner or later. If they are losing the discussion the only way to play it is, it’s racist.

I said it after Emanual’s administration; the city of Chicago has become ungovernable.

Are progressive alder heroes must pass ASAP city ordinance taxing the “Kia Boys” Instagram/u-tube videos to pay for CTU/Brandon & Stacy’s guaranteed, not to be diminished $multi-millionaire$ pensions for being a CPS teacher for 4 years. Have Illinois Trial Lawyers go after the $bucks$, similar to BIPA….EQUITY!!!

Dave Hardy

They’re not Kia Boys… They’re Brandon’s children. Words matter. The city should enforce the law. YouTube et. al. promotes Glock switches crime, gun violence, etc. I’m not confident city will do anything good with funds from big tech.

Dave, how about calling em— CTU/Brandon’s Kia Boys, Kimmie’s Kia Boys, Toni’s Kia Boys, JB’s Kia Boys, Illinois Dem Machine Kia Boys, etc….works for this 66 yr old life long streets of Chicago guy. How about you?….oh, or sorry, am I supposed to call um Dopey Taxpayer/Homeowner Kia Boys because in some wackie /woke alternate universe I’m guilty of not paying enough to stem the multi-generational systemic disinvestment BS. This is the scam CTU & Brandon are pushing while holding out for giant $contract$, after convention one assumes. Their problem is no ones buying it any more in Chicago or… Read more »

The car is a defenseless object! It has nothing to do with the problem. With that logic, the city could also sue Kia owners for not using a steering wheel lock. Brandon, Pritzker, Raoul, Foxx and others are to blame.

I see what they’re up to. They’re following the Dan Webb Dominion strategy. A forced payout in early settlement will embolden cronys with more cash. It’s a backdoor political campaign donation. Facebook is setting up the same with the school districts and their potential settlement related to getting kids addicted to the platforms.

I’m kinda partial to “Kimmie’s Kia Boys” as a search engine/ clickbait $title$. but in any case, I’m 100% sure “Kia Boys” is a clickbait $money maker$ just like Stacy Gates, Brandon Johnson, Kim Foxx, AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Trump, etc…. That’s what its all about, the advertisers that bid on all that behind the scenes are lined up to spend BIG $bucks$. So, my question is why isn’t CTU, at least on behalf of taxpayers, trying to cash in? Or maybe they are and we just don’t know it?

The country is simply dysfunctional. While this is primarily a Chicago and IL focused site what’s happening at a larger level is mirrored at the local levels. When you look at things like the huge train leaving central Mexico right now and the fact the Mexican government is giving GPS coordinates to border crossers you will begin to understand. And tens of thousands of single, military age Chinese males coming across the border. Where are the wives? Where are the children? Last time I looked China was not physically connected to Mexico, so how are they getting there? Wake up… Read more »

The people of Chicago want it this way. They voted for it. The situation is theirs just as they chose it to be. It is the show of a life time too so have plenty of popcorn to sit back and continue watching the show of a lifetime brought to us all by the Citizens of Chicago.

16 downvotes in 33 minutes, looks like someone learned how to game the system.

Dave Hardy

??? Game the system???? You really think something is wrong when people downvote a post claiming folks WANT and are VOTING FOR getting robbed with a gun in their face? The real scandal is all of the trolls on here and the passive attitude of Wirepoints for allowing it to happen. I’m glad people are finally waking up.

“the passive attitude of allowing it to happen.” Explain what you mean and what you suggest we should be doing.

Yesterday, you candidly admitted that people rarely read more than headlines and linked to a research paper. I’d like to elaborate on that topic. Comment sections are now the key influence agents in right leaning political discourse. It’s well known in political science that laypersons pay far more attention to group sentiment, social cues and heuristics when making political decisions and taking action. Paid trolls have been professionally gaming comment sections to obtain competitive advantage for over a decade. Perhaps you should acknowledge the white elephant in the room and take proactive steps to arrest it. Another thing, Ted Dabrowski… Read more »

What exactly is it you have against free speech Dave? Your liberalism is showing. As long as people agree with you it’s all good, otherwise Wirepoints should ban them. Go hang at CrapFax if you want group think and banning of people who think differently. Talk about having your head buried deep in, well, you know where.

” Education, morale, and cohesion”, isn’t that what the Left has been promising for decades? Maybe they didn’t mean it…for the last 100 years.

I have gotten to know many of the commenters you are referring to and I have never seen a shred of reason to think any of them are paid trolls. Your call to “take proactive steps to arrest it” (censorship) is against everything we stand for. And as for your claim that Ted is always blowing the retreat bugle, good grief, he works tirelessly doing just the opposite, with concrete solutions and encouragement to stand up and fight against all that is going wrong.

I have gotten to know many of the commenters you are referring to and I have never seen a shred of reason to think any of them are paid trolls. Riverbender’s thread starting comment is prima facie evidence of a troll. Matter of fact, it’s so outlandish, I challenge you to prove it’s not. Walking through some simple logical exercises easily illustrates the absurdity of it. Are you in agreement with Riverbender that the people of Chicago enjoy getting robbed and pillaged? Have you ever met anyone that enjoys getting robbed and a gun shoved in their face? Do you… Read more »

Reread my post because I didn’t post that they “enjoyed it.” I posted that they “wanted it” based upon their voting choices. So, you are wrong.

His point was merely that they voted for this. So many people don’t get sarcasm or parody. And I see no reason to think he is paid.

Your getting a little too big for your britches Dave when you want to sequester free speech. You can spew your nonsense and I can spew mine. I only have one account associated with my email and my name. There are no bots here but you saying that makes me think are you potentially outing yourself? Did this Freudian slip happen because you sound like a “Rules for thee and not for me” authoritarian when you say things like that. The sudden downvotes are not by accident, if that’s you with your 25 email bot accounts then maybe it’s time… Read more »

Dave, it’s one thing to offer a different point of view. No problem with that. Consistently criticizing others’ work while trying to piggyback on that work to get your point across is something else entirely. Maybe it’s time to start your own site?

Criticizing? Piggyback? I contribute here and have helped build this site. How am I the problem???? This is hilarious. You goofballs are perfectly OK with someone claiming that folks like getting robed and pillaged at gunpoint, but the minute someone steps out of the matrix…. the whole comment section lights up! Of course they want the current situation. They voted for Brandon and he pointed out once that he “is giving the people what they voted for.” Why think that they didn’t want this?

I’ve spent years studying political science and related fields. I have the receipts. Also, I have common sense and understand that nobody wants to be robbed at gunpoint.

Someone mentioned once that by changing their IP they could vote multiple times here and, I might add, that person is posting today.

Keen observation! I posted it months ago in response to Debtsor – obviously upvoting himself relentlessly. How many handles does Debtsor have? How many of the other Debbie Downers on this site are the same person? “The people voted For this” trope is getting a bit old and worn at this point!

For posterity, I do not relentless upvote myself and I only post under one username. I don’t have time to change my ip address and double and triple vote. LIke I said, I do a lot of ‘hurry up and wait’ at work so I have time to post several times periodically throughout the day. But when I retire in a few years and move to FL, you’ll probably never hear from me again. Does Punta Gorda have a WP equivalent? On the flip side, how do we know you’re not the paid troll to come here? It’s not above… Read more »

Yes, it’s a functional dystopia, with dystopia being defined by the American Heritage dictionary as: “An imaginary place or state in which the condition of life is extremely bad, as from deprivation, oppression, or terror.”

In the eyes of Pritzker, Johnson, Foxx and the Democrats high crime and taxes, and poor schools are utopia. Life is good.
