“Lori Lightfoot did nothing about the city’s massive crime problems. In fact, according to Wirepoints.org, Chicago’s homicide rate is about 5 times higher than that of New York City.” – Wirepoints cited by The Ben Shapiro Show

Wirepoints’ research on Chicago’s ongoing crime wave was cited by Ben Shapiro as one of the reasons why Lori Lightfoot lost her job as Chicago’s mayor last night.

“The real reason that Lori Lightfoot is no longer going to be the mayor of Chicago is because she was a terrible mayor…she happened to do nothing about the massive crime problems inside the city. In fact, according to Wirepoints.org, Chicago’s homicide rate is about 5 times higher than that of New York City and 2.5 times higher than Los Angeles’s…”

Lori’s secret plan was to allow murderers to run wild with the objective;if everyone in Chicago was a murderer, it would be a more homogenous population. Everyone would get along! Thanks Lori; You Dope!

Revealing the failures of the elected Chicago/Cook County politicians just falls on the deaf ears of the loyal democrat voters. To them all of the facts and statistics are a bunch of baloney promoted by evil Republicans. They, Chicago/Cook County voters, are just insanely stupid.

crime is raising every year and going to get much worse. No stopping it now. The honest hard-working families are leaving ASAP. Only criminals will be left in due time.

Being Kim Foxx will not prosecute offenders and the new no cash bail situation regardless of who is in how can incidents of crime be expected to drop? Be realistic, what can the Captain of a mechanically decimated ship do to stop the ship’s sinking?
Be realistic as Kim Foxx and Kwame Raoul, both duly elected, assure that the crime rates will continue to escalate. Like it or not, that’s the way it is.

The law allows Chicago to prosecute its own cases through the Cook County courts although it never does. The city would have to set up its own infrastructure of attorneys to prosecute its own cases. Not sure if that’s the route they would go or not.

We can all agree that Lori was of no help in reducing crime but a real turn around will require Lil Kim to be shown the door too.

Don’t be surprised if Chicago goes with someone even worse than Lightfoot in April. I know, that’s hard to fathom, but never underestimate Chicago voters. Regardless, well done Wirepoints.

A set of state lawmakers want to extend CPS’ current school closing moratorium to February 1, 2027 – the same year CPS is set to transition to a fully-elected school board. That means schools like Manley High School, with capacity for more than 1,000 students but enrollment of just 78, can’t be closed for anther three years. The school spends $45,000 per student, but just 2.4% of students read at grade level.
