Mayor Brandon Johnson’s budget pitch blames ‘Trump Deficit,’ but Chicago’s money woes found elsewhere – Chicago Tribune/Yahoo

"Instead, the $1.19 billion projected shortfall for 2026 has been telegraphed for years because of rising personnel and pension costs as well as pandemic-era federal grants from President Joe Biden’s administration expiring. While these pressures long predated Johnson, he has known about them since assuming office and has not meaningfully addressed the structural causes."

The slaves known as Chicagoans are dumb enough to believe what he says without questioning.

Chicago’s budget deficit is not Trumps fault. The deficit is squarely on Johnson’s shoulders. BJ refuses to cut wasteful spending and political hires. He remolded his wife’s office-what does she do besides collect a salary? He could put down his security detail and pay for his own haircuts. He could stop paying for illegals. When Johnson starts behaving fiscally responsible and obeying federal laws, then he can start blaming others.

Mayor Cliff Notes has never had a real job of responsibility in his life. Mayor Notes is great at exactly two things: deflection and projection.

Kind of funny when a math teacher like Brandon Johnson was can’t figure out simple math. Kind of explains why Chicago students can’t do math.

I now know why CPS students are doing so poorly. When you have an idiot like him teaching you it’s so hard to focus

If you worked in the city in the 90’s and 00’s, you remember how bustling the downtown area was, as compared to now. Even then, the city’s budget battles were always contentious and barely balanced. I just don’t see how the city survives financially for much longer given its appalling leadership over the last decade.

I’m no Trumper, and even I call that a bunch of hooey and a diversion from his own issues.

What is most concerning is the similarities between The Pinhead and the socialist Islamist running for mayor of New York. These two nut balls are very similar in their thoughts on what government should be…these people need to be out of office and not driving change and direction…because that won’t be pretty.
