Just saw a video of Maria Hadden (Chicago Councilman) stating that she believes it was just a “wrong place at the wrong time” thing. Nothing to see here. “Kids out walking and maybe they startled this guy and he had a gun.” I really have no words for the irrational callus statements and insinuation that this young woman was somehow responsible for her own murder. How are you going to hold pigster and pinhead accountable and who is going to do it? They face no consequences as shown by the recent primaries. These poor parents will be left to live the rest of their lives with a huge hole. They could not care less. The other day, Trump held a memorial (?) for the 62 Americans killed by illegals, the time frame of which is unknown to me. This young lady would be number 63, and not a peep out of the DSA Dems. I really think that there is no limit in their minds as to when this becomes unacceptable. Can’t wait for the reaction if the missing Guthrie woman is found to have suffered the same fate. Remember all your Dem politicians that refused to vote in favor of the Laken Riley bill when you vote in November.

National websites stated Venezuelan migrant with previous arrests charged. Meanwhile, Tribune initial headline was “Rogers Park man charged.” So, Trib avoids saying anything about immigration status or shoplifting charge as if he was just any old guy from Rogers Park. Maybe further stories may include his status, but typical Chicago paper downplaying story.

I’ve been saying that for years; public hangings at the scene where the crime took place.
I think public executions should be tried again: those in favor will believe the deterrent effect works best when the execution is public (and the death penalty should only be levied for well-planned crimes, for which deterrent works), and those opposed will bet that public executions will spur a backlash. I say try it. Fewer CIA analysts will sell info to the Russkies if the guy at the desk next to him is hanging on the front lawn for doing the same.
