Paul Vallas: The Great Displacement – Chicago Contrarian

"According to Wirepoints, Illinois continues to hemorrhage wealthy residents. Since 2000, the state has lost roughly 1.6 million people — third most in the nation, behind only California and New York. Chicago’s population, even with the recent influx of migrants, is now at its lowest level in nearly a century. Almost every county in Illinois has experienced a decline in population.  Even more troubling, Illinois isn’t merely losing residents — it’s losing income."

To think we could have had Paul Vallas’ clear headed leadership in Chicago. Instead we got DEI hire Mayor Cliff Notes. This could have been balanced with sober State government, but we have the most gerrymandered legislature and one of the worst governors in America, trust fund baby JB the Hutt.

Illinois is utterly lost.

Both NY and Ca have much larger populations than Illinois.
Those other states have the same problem as Illinois. Public sector union greed is destroying the quality of life for the normal working person.
