in hindsight the “safe and effective” claims proved to be neither. just the fact that liquor stores & fast food joints remained open while gyms were shut down proves that it was never about public health. th.e next one is inevitable because nothing has been done about the root cause-of course that is unsurpising because there is little to no profit in prevention.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
