Stacy Davis Gates: In 2050, CPS will be rooted in sustainability – Chicago Tribune*

"To continue on that path, by 2050, we will have reformed the role of money in politics and ensured a fairer tax system that supports public education. Because if we believe in the power of the village, then we must equip that village with the power to make decisions and create policies without undue influence."

Yet CPS currently as financially bankrupt as Stacy Gates is intellectually.

Maybe it’ll help to have more school days off to celebrate the 100 million plus corpses in the ground due to Socialism.

Ask any student to figure out that in years. Bet less than 50%. But on a positive note maybe thats when Stacy’s prison sentence gets over

Sustainability by 2050! Meanwhile, it’s just too hard to teach kids the basic tools of learning by 3rd grade. You just don’t understand! Sustainability by 2050!

“ Sustainability, affordability, equity, blah, blah, blah!”. These Marxists like to throw around lofty ideas and grand words without really understanding what they mean and no intention of accomplishing anything. Norm Crosby and Yogi Berra, two kings of malapropos, would fit in nicely with these types of people.

Sensible people would equate “a fairer tax system” with significantly less bloat in Illinois and the governmental bodies within it. I’m guessing that’s not what she means.

The ” village” that Gates envisions is also called Communism. She and the CPS will be prime in the destruction of the city of Chicago.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
