A new report shows which CTA stations had the smallest pandemic drops in riders, and it could hold clues to transit’s future – Chicago Tribune*

The Pulaski Blue Line station in West Garfield Park and the Conservatory Green Line station in East Garfield Park kept more riders than any other stations during the first year of the pandemic, retaining more than half their average daily riders. In contrast, the Merchandise Mart station downtown, which typically served many office commuters, saw the sharpest drop in its average daily riders between 2019 and 2020: about 74%.

Chicago Teachers Union polling members over possible ‘shift to remote learning’ as COVID cases rise – FOX32 (Chicago)
