“Illinois’ growing bills will fall on the next, shrinking generation” – Ted with Tom Miller on Newsradio WJPF

Ted talked with Tom Miller on Newsradio WJPF all about Illinois’ demographic collapse earlier this week.

Ted pointed out that Illinois is in the middle of a demographic storm. Residents are leaving the state in record numbers. The number of Americans moving into Illinois has hit new lows. Net foreign immigration has fallen by half. And the number of births has dropped by more than 20 percent.

Illinois is shrinking while its neighbors are growing. And the lesson to take from that is clear: Illinois should stop practicing its high-tax, can-kick policies and embrace the big reforms its neighbors are doing.
