If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
First, Pritzker and IL are always demanding a recount, trying to squeeze in a few extra people. A recount in almost all states would probably find some uncounted people. Second, the basic fact is that IL population is not growing compared to other states, so, yes, it will lose seats in the House.

It’s an absolute shame that the beautiful city of Chicago is in such decline, but it’s not surprising given the policies. I moved from Chicago (where I lived for 8 years) back to Austin, TX, my hometown.
